💧 Care Guide
☀️ Light
Provide bright, filtered or indirect light. Colocasia can handle more light than many tropical houseplants, especially when gradually acclimated, but intense direct afternoon sun can scorch leaves.
Brighter light can also help support strong, vigorous growth.
💦 Watering
Unlike many houseplants, Colocasia generally enjoys staying consistently moist during active growth.
Water when the surface is just beginning to dry and don’t allow the plant to remain completely dry for extended periods. Always provide drainage, even though this plant enjoys plenty of moisture.
🌫️ Humidity
High humidity is appreciated, especially when growing indoors. Aim for 60%+ humidity, with higher humidity often producing better growth.
Good airflow is still important to prevent fungal and bacterial issues.
