Kaempferia Galanga Tissue Culture

Kaempferia Galanga Tissue Culture

Kaempferia galanga, commonly known as Sand Ginger, is a unique and highly aromatic tropical plant valued for both its ornamental foliage and traditional uses. With its low-growing habit and attractive leaves, it makes an excellent addition to tropical collections, herb gardens, and specialty plant setups.

This listing is for a tissue culture (TC) plant, giving growers the opportunity to establish this rare species from a clean, lab-propagated start.

Each plant is produced under sterile laboratory conditions to ensure genetic purity, disease-free material, and strong long-term growth potential.

Important Tissue Culture Acclimation Instructions (READ CAREFULLY)

Proper acclimation is required for successful establishment:

• Remove plant from agar immediately upon arrival
• Rinse all gel/agar thoroughly from roots and plant base
• Do NOT plant directly into soil on arrival
• Place in high humidity (70–90%) environment immediately
• Use a humidity dome or enclosed propagation setup
• Provide bright, indirect light only (no direct sun during acclimation)
• Maintain warm temperatures (75–85°F ideal)
• Start in a light, airy medium such as sphagnum moss or perlite
• Keep evenly moist but well aerated
• Gradually reduce humidity over 2–4 weeks as new growth establishes
• Transition to soil once roots are strong and plant is actively growing

Improper acclimation, including immediate planting into soil, will result in loss and is not covered under warranty.
